Isuzu is producing a special truck to mark 100 years as an automobile manufacturer. The Special Edition D-Max Centurion went on sale on April 9th, the 100th day of 2016. Continuing with the theme marking a century, Isuzu will make only 100 of the special edition trucks.
The Japanese automaker will sell this special edition pickup in the United Kingdom, so it is highly unlikely that you will see any of these right hand drive only pickups roaming the streets in North America. The starting price for the Special Edition Centurion is roughly £30,999 or $43,770.
The exterior of the Centurion special edition is highlighted by its unique color, FJORD Blue. The 19-inch black and silver Hurricane alloy wheels, surrounded by Pirelli Scorpion Zero tires that give the Duramax power to go somewhere.
Front and rear spoilers that do not interfere with the trucks ground clearance or ride height round out the aesthetics of the truck. The truck comes equipped with stainless steel nerf bars, paint matching tonneau cover and roof bars, tinted windows, LED daytime running lights, and remote tailgate locking.
The interior features Isuzu’s Centurion trim upgrade package, which boasts leather trim on the seats, center armrest, and steering wheel. Front and rear entry door guards have an Isuzu illuminated logo and the bed has a Centurion branded rug protecting it.
The entertainment package in the Special Edition pickup is highlighted by an Alpine in car entertainment system which contains an 8-inch dash audio and navigation screen with rear view camera, and a 10.2-inch rear roof flip down monitor system with two wireless headphone sets.
Under the hood of this special edition truck is the same tried and tested motor, the 2.5-liter twin turbo D-Max diesel that is rated at 161 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy is rated at a respectable 38.7 mpg UK or 32.2 mpg US. Check out a quick video of the truck below.
