Fitzgerald Performance Dyno Shootout Promises Big Payout

For years, dyno competitions have brought out the biggest and the best in horsepower and explosions. With events like the Ultimate Callout Challenge (UCC) and the Northwest Dyno Circuit, more people are willing to send their trucks to the brink of destruction for the exposure, and dough. As the popularity of this style of event increases, the payouts have followed. Coined “FP Truck Fest 2024“, Fitzgerald Performance Parts’ upcoming dyno shootout has already started ringing some bells of the dyno world’s biggest names.

Per the Fitzgerald Performance Parts Facebook page: “The vendors’ area is loaded this year, and we extend a massive thank you to the companies that have shown faith in our vision and what we aim to achieve. With two dynos offering cash prizes, a burnout competition in an 80×80 slide pit, and a big Show & Shine featuring 50 trophies, this event promises non-stop excitement. Join us as some of the biggest names in the automotive industry gather for what is sure to be one of the most fun events you’ll attend!

It is a dyno competition, anything can happen, right?

The action-packed schedule kicks off on May 31, with vendor setup at 11:00 a.m., followed by gates opening to the public at 2:00 p.m. The evening is set for a Pizza Party, Light Show, and Hangout at 7:00 p.m. A spectator dyno will be available from 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. On Saturday, the excitement continues when the gates open at 9:00 a.m. Saturday highlights include the Burnout competition from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., and the Bash for Cash Dyno Competition starts a Noon and lasts until 5:00 p.m. Spectator Dyno runs will once again take place from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., leading up to the Awards Ceremony at 7:00 p.m. Stay tuned for official show schedules and a new map – it’s an event you won’t want to miss!”

While this event promises excitement for the whole gang, the “Bash For Cash” dyno shootout is what we’re curious about. A few heavy hitters are planning to attend, and a 10-truck field will culminate in a winner-take-all prize of $10,000. Here is the current lineup with nine of the available 10 spots: Greg Alberalla, Logan Epling, Chris Patterson, Chris Patterson (Second truck), Michael Brown, Daniel Hargrove, Hunter Coffey, Josh McCormack, and David Petrick. We can’t wait to hear who fills out the Number 10 spot.

Greg Alberalla, a known diesel YouTuber, will use every available partner to make sure he puts on a great show for those in attendance and the thousands of fans watching around the world. Logan Epling, a recent Ultimate Callout Challenge competitor, will put his dyno experience to the test. Chris Patterson, coined Mr. 3000, will be making the trek from Texas with two trucks to give himself two chances at making $10,000.

With one spot remaining, will anything outside a Cummins powerplant step in and dethrone the inline sixes?

Michael Brown and Daniel Hargrove are also well-known names in the diesel-performance world. These guys have plenty of experience wheeling high-horsepower rigs on a sled-pulling track, dragstrip, and dyno. Next, you’ve got Huter Coffey, who has an extremely powerful Ram that has made a ton of noise (literally) on the dragstrip as of late. Then you’ve got the W.O.T crew of Josh McCormack and David Petrick bringing their Rams into town. These guys constantly follow dynos around, and with their capabilities and experience, who knows what could happen. This is stacking up to be an event to remember.

Stay tuned as more details come out about the dyno shootout and we’ll be here to share. For more information, you can check out the UCC website or head over to the Fitzgerald Performance Parts website or social media page here.
