When we travel to events, we want to cover all levels of the event. Whether it be racing, pulling, or even in the truck show, we want to be involved. Obviously, we have the drag racing covered with Deadspool, but its the tow rig that we’re wanting to dress up and compete in at these packed truck shows that go on during the racing.

As you may know, our Project TowBoat is a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500. With so many available options on the truck that could use some spice, we knew there was only one stop to make when it comes to exterior upgrades, ANZO USA. ANZO USA has set us up with some of their top of the line products to upgrade the look of our Ram including headlights, taillights, cab lights, third brake light, and even LED fog lamps.

This truck was purchased with another aftermarket brands taillights and third brake light but the new lighting equipment is by far more superior to the existing parts. Not only will these ANZO parts function better and produce more usable light on all ends, but they will also look physically better. Headlights- Dodge Ram Projector Headlights U-Bar Black

For starters, the front of our Ram is going to look completely different with the help of these U-Bar headlights. The headlights (Part #111270), among the other front end parts, are a key component to standing out from others. With the help of these, our front end will be catching eyes immediately with the aftermarket look.

Tail Lights- Dodge Ram LED Tail Lights Black

Secondly, the main reason for TowBoat is to do exactly what it’s called, tow. When we’re towing across the country, we inevitably run into dark hours. With that being said, we wanted to have a set of taillights that will physically be brighter to make ourselves seen by other drivers to maintain safe travels. With the help of these (Part #311144), we will successfully light up the road behind us with the LED tails.

The factory white cab lenses are cracking, leaking, and barely stand out in the dark. These new LED bulbs and smoked lenses from ANZO are going to be a focal point of Project TowBoat.

Fog Lights- Rugged Vision 3″x 5″ High Power L.E.D Fog Light 

The factory headlights and fog lights are not performance level by any means. They are required to just get the job done. While they functioned fine before, the fog lights really didn’t make a huge difference at night. What better way to upgrade them with these (Part #881001) 3-inch by 5-inch LED ANZO fogs. With these upgraded fog lights, seeing at night will never be an issue again.

Cab Lights- Dodge Ram LED Cab Lights Smoke

Cab lights are supposedly known for helping the driver see at night. Well, if that’s the case, our factory cab lights aren’t helping at all. Now, we will have LED bulbs and smoked cab lights. With these cab lights (Part #861091), we will have all matching exterior lighting with the trend of smoked or dark lighting lense’s.

These fog lights are going to be a huge part of this upgrade. Everyone know’s how weak factory lighting is and with these aggressive units, it will stand out from the others.

Third Brake Light- Dodge Ram Smoke

When towing, we’re obviously going to be hooking and unhooking from a gooseneck trailer. With the help of this LED third brake light (Part #531071), we can now exercise a functional brighter light for truck bed situations. Also, like the other parts, it is also covered in the matching smoked lens.
