Most of us loves going muddin’ in their truck from time to time! But, what if you could compete deep in the mud against other trucks to prove your superiority. Well, that’s just what these two trucks are doing at the Trucks Gone Wild event during the Louisiana Mudfest near Colfax, La.
Louisiana Mudfest is a family run business is an ATV park that offers riding along with camping, swimming, and fishing. They claim that you don’t have to just be able to play in the mud to come spend some time relaxing with at the park!
The video above is of two guys flexing some muscle. The first is a ’98 Chevrolet Silverado SWB with a rear mounted 12-valve Cummins engine reportedly producing 650 hp. Rocking five axles and 23.1/30 inch tires with a 70 inch lift.

This photo really illustrates the amount of fabrication and work that went into making this truck. Photos Courtesy of Ballin On A Budget Motorsports
The second is an ’07 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab with a Duramax engine reportedly making 525 hp. This ride has 20 ton axles and is rolling on 30.5/32 inch tires with a 74 inch lift.
Both trucks are Ballin’ On A Budget creations. Filmed by Triple-X Motorsports and Outdoors this is one group that is high and dirty. As they go back and forth it is clear that carnage is going to happen at anytime. First to break is the silver Chevy with a shattered bellhousing.
Then as the SWB Silverado goes to make a pass and blows an intercooler boot. While it is a quick and easy fix, working on a hot engine in the mud isn’t the greatest. After getting it repaired, he finds out that the crew cab is down. Never leaving a muddin buddy behind, he hooks up and tows his comrade back to the pit to head home for repaired.
