Bulldog Thunder Truck and Tractor Pull, Burnett, Texas September 20-21, 2013
As the pulling season winds down across much of the country, point chases start heating up. That is certainly the case for the Texas Truck and Tractor Pulling Association (TTTPA) Hot Farm class and Super Street Diesel classes. After the Bulldog Thunder Truck and Tractor Pull, there are two more pulls to decide who stands on the podium and who watches from below as first runner up.
As of September 21st the battle between first place’s Clint Metting, driving Bull Frogg, and Scott Struthoff, driving Constant Aggression, was five points heading into Saturday’s pull. Struthoff out pulled Metting and so did John Link, giving Struthoff two points more than Metting. The battle for third and fourth is just as tight with third place John Link in Revvelation being only one point ahead of Randall Brockman in Red Warrior Express heading into Saturday’s pull. When the dust settled, Link pulled 6 feet and two places past Brockman giving him a 3 point lead heading into the Masonic Lodge Dist. #7 pull in Sulphur Springs, Texas. With 8 to 10 pullers showing up per pull, it is still anyone’s game.
In, Super Street Diesel, the battle isn’t quite as tight after Buck Hyundman decided not to pull due to a rule change heading into the weekend’s pull. So, Chris Ryan’s Mutt pretty much has first place wrapped up. Hyundman should be able to hold onto second with Ready to Rumble, while Vanessa Finstad driving Uncommon is only a couple points ahead of Shawn Braun’s Bad Asset for third place.
Stay tuned as we continue to provide coverage of the TTTPA’s Pulling series.

Scott Struthoff in Constant Aggression, out pulled everyone Saturday. With the weekends points added up, Struthoff is only 3 points behind first place, Clint Metting with Bull Frogg.
