SEMA 2014: Fabtech Makes Waves With Their Latest

redz06IMG_2237nmcaFabtech, celebrating 25 successful years in business was on hand to show off a wide variety of new and improved products for 2015. While at the Fabtech booth, we met with Jason Pappo, Engineering Manager for Fabtech Motorsports who walked us through their new offerings.

For 2013-2014 Ram 2500/3500 owners looking for a lift, Fabtech now offers a new patent pending angled spring mount for the front spring that takes out the factory-bowed stock coil. “Instead of using the factory spring that has a curve in it, we made an agnled mount that straightens out the spring, improves ride quality, and allows us to use a lower spring rate. It is available in five or seven inch lift applications with either a radius arm or four link setup.”

For those looking for a simple leveling kit to level their truck, Fabtech introduced an entirely new lineup of leveling kits including coil spacers and torsion keys that are powder coated black, engineered to reduce binding, and have a five year 60,000 mile warranty.

The well known Fabtech Dirt Logic shocks went through some recent improvements as well which Pappo explained by saying, “With our Dirt Logic shocks, we have gone away from nickel plated shock bodies and have gone to 304 stainless steel that wont rust. In addition, we have transitioned from chrome plated shafts to “nitro-steel” shafts that have no plating or coating. They go through a carbonizing process that increases the surface hardness and wont chip.”

To finish off their showing, Fabtech introduced their new mid-level shock called the “Stealth.” Pappo added, “We now have a good, better, best scenario with the mono-tube 2.0 Stealth that fits between the base level (white) shocks and the more expensive Dirt Logic shocks all while offering similar technology to the Dirt Logic.”
