Video: B&W Quality

B&W Trailer Hitches prides themselves on their dedication to quality. From the materials they use, to the processes, and the skilled hands plying they trade to create some of the most well respected towing equipment. According to B&W machinist Nelson Boyer, “One of the things I do for B&W is that I ensure that our production processes stay consistent. Our consistent production process is what gives us the quality B&W is known for.”

Anyone who has worked in a machine shop environment knows that manufacturing is all about tolerances, and stringent quality control. Consistency in product is security, and B&W knows this when producing their most-popular turnover-ball goose-neck hitch.

Generally speaking, the faster you push a machine the more quality will suffer. The CNC lathes and mills that B&W employs to craft their products are run not only with expertise but discretion. A discretion that shows in their mission statement. “Over the years the question has been raised, why we don’t loosen up our standards to make the parts easier to manufacture? But that’s not the way B&W does things. Our goal is to make the best hitch out there.” said Boyer.

When you buy hitches or other trailer equipment you have to look past the investment in the trailer. The real investment you are making is in the security of your load. Maybe you are hauling a priceless hot rod, your prized boat, or the family camper. The value of these items deserves the best quality towing equipment, so look into the source of your purchase and consider who takes pride in their products consistency and who is just trying to crank out hitches.Screen Shot 2015-10-07 at 10.28.05 AM copy
