As epic burnouts go, we at Diesel Army can assuredly say for the most part we have viewed and shared some pretty sick throw downs to the pavement from a variety of rides. However with that said after a recent viewing of the above video from Australia, our friends south of the equator have taken the burnout to a new level of badassary.
After emptying their load and cleaning the truck up, the two Australian natives did an exhibition of power and pure sweetness when they recently lit up the rear rubber of their dump truck (Mudcarter as they call it).
This 1977 White Roadboss powered by a small cam Cummins powerplant supported by a heavy duty 15-speed transmission proudly displayed all 335 HP hitting the pavement in a rock star showmanship of smokiness and flying rubber.
With the bed empty, there was plenty of torque available to put on quite a good show for almost two minutes. This certainly isn’t something that most of us have seen in person and with the show of bruit strength on display, the performance was epic.
While our buddies from down under may have some explaining to do if their boss ever ganders a viewing of this footage, we can most definitely say we have now been schooled in the proper technique of dump truck burnouts.
So, next time we have time, we are going to look up dump truck rentals and see if we can practice what we just learned. After all practice makes perfect right?
