SuperSprings International proudly showcased their products at SEMA 2024 including some versatile, innovative helper springs they call SumoSprings. SuperSprings has a long track record of improving ride quality (both handling and comfort) for both everyday vehicles and off-road applications. The company has been offering a steel variant of a helper-spring system that carries the same name as the company, but these new SumoSprings are a completely new take on progressive, load-bearing helpers.

SumoSprings are a progressive spring with a very soft initial engagement. They are manufactured from micro-cellular polyurethane, not rubber, and are available in three different colors. Each color is tailored for a specific driving condition and the color-coded system makes it easy to understand — blue is for the lightest density (for a soft ride), with black and yellow providing increasingly higher densities for increased support. They are made to eradicate sag, reduce sway, diminish body roll, and soften harsh rebounds to provide a better driving experience on rougher roads.

SuperSprings also highlighted its namesake product, the steel SuperSpring. This bolt-on, steel helper spring is designed to add spring rate to your vehicle’s existing spring pack. SuperSprings also eliminate sag and reduce body roll, but they do it through SuperSprings’ patented, roller-bolt design, which allows the SuperSpring to be a self-adjusting solution to these unwanted effects.
