Once again, the SEMA Show is bringing more and more to the electronics table. With that being said, something new for aFe Power is their AGD Monitor. What that means is Advanced Gauge Display and it works through the OBD-II for any vehicle 2008 and up. Mainly it’s set up for diesel-powered vehicles, but it will physically work on anything 2008-newer.
The AGD monitor made its debut at the SEMA Show and it was spotlighted in the AFE booth among other great products. The AGD Monitor offers over 25 parameters to view and even more on the way. This all-in-one device records and data logs important vehicle information and is easily read on this extremely clean display.
A great feature of this monitor is that it remembers what it’s been paired with. When it first boots up, it will verify what it is connected to. You select yes or no on whether or not it is the correct vehicle and move on. Every vehicle you pair it with will be listed and remembered in the settings to save you time when switching between vehicles.
This AGD Monitor is all-new for aFe Power, but they have actually been building electronics since 2015. After talking with them at the show, they are excited for the future of aFe. We are excited to try out one of these modules soon and will give you the full rundown in the near future. For more information about aFe Power, be sure and check out its website.
