For those of you lucky enough to have attended the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, you may have seen the impressive display of vehicles and custom wheels at the American Force Wheels booth. For those who missed it, we tried to portray what these looked like with a news article live from SEMA.
There were plenty of vehicles commanding attention, but we really developed a taste for one lowered, gorgeous Chevy dually and a new Chevrolet Corvette painted and accessorized to match. Nothing like having matching wheels on all your rides!
Between all the cars and trucks we have worked with and customized over the years, we can tell you that there are high-quality wheels and wheels that probably should have stayed on the design table. American Force is one of the companies which takes the time to design and produce a wheel the right way, with the proper materials and attention to detail. In addition to their quality, they have an amazing assortment of sizes, styles, and the color or finish combinations are nearly endless. As you can see, they take pride in what they do and we appreciate that kind of craftsmanship this day in age.
While not identical, you can see the similarities in the color and design cues which pulls the pair together nicely. The newly launched wheels featured on the Corvette are known as American Force Muscle. Moreover, we thought this video was too cool to pass up. Naturally, we are a bit bias towards the truck, but we wouldn’t mind a matching ‘Vette to go along with it!
American Force Wheels went on to explain a little more about these beautiful vehicles and the wheels that really help make them a statement. “We wanted to showcase a pair of iconic vehicles to show the world what we can do. We took a 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500 4wd and a 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 and sent them over to Sniper/Hulst Customs to be customized to match.
Locating both vehicles in matching paint was next to impossible. The Z06 was bought in Torch Red while the Silverado came in black. Both vehicles were stripped down to the frame and painted the custom candy red you see in the video. The team at Hulst then went to town making an assortment of 1 off carbon fiber parts for both vehicles, modified the suspension and interior tweaks were made. We then installed a matching set of American Force Wheels, Man O’ War in powder coated gun metal bronze.Â
The Silverado dually was fitted with a set of 26″ dually wheels while the Z06 has matching 3 piece wheels staggered pair of 20″ x 10″ in the front and 21″ x 12.5″ in the rear. The matching pair was a major success at the SEMA Show getting a lot of attention in the booth. We are very proud of these builds and hope you enjoy them.”
